Show Some Love

Fashionable Stamping Challenge is “Show Some Love .”

Using one of my favorite Photo Image stamps from “Art by Moonlight” and Archival ink in Sepia I stamped this wonderful little boy and girl.
Tinting the image with Antique Linen distress ink, and curled the edges. My printed paper is from TPC Studio (Ancestral Teal Brocade) and a small stamp from A-Muse Studio.
The Heart shape candy stamps are from TAC. I placed them on decorative hat pins, added little beads. The metal flower is from Creative Imaginations, which I painted with acrylic paint.
I hope you have a chance to stop into Fashionable Stamping and take a look at all the beautiful artwork done for this challenge, then join us.
Would love to see “Your Love”.
Have a wonderful snowy afternoon. Stay off the Icy Roads and Stamp!!!

White on White with Decorative Edge.

This is the current challenge at Our Creative Corner.
I thought this would be an easy peasy challenge, but never though there would be so many different colors or shades of (White). Funny even white embossing powder looks creamy, as well as white vellum turns to yellow tones.
Oh well here’s my entry for this challenge. Using a Martha Steward punch called “Garden Trellis”, I punched the decorative edge. Then form Tim Holtz collection I used the following die, Bird Branch 637833, Cardinal 658266. The branch was cut four times from white cardstock. Same with the cardinal.
My flowers were stamped on vellum and embossed with white embossing powder, then cut out, stamp used was from Stampin’ Up.
Embellishments from Keeping Memories, Michaels. Crocheted flowers and white plastic bag from my stash. Thanks for stopping by today, hope everyone is staying warm. Have a good creative day.
Hugs XOXOXO

Be Mine Pocket Card

At Christmas I was given a gift in a white plastic gift bag, which I saved and cut apart to make the pocket for this little card. I used the Pocket Envelope Die 657843 from Sizzix,
cut and emboss it with white embossing powder.

Stamp used was from Great Impressions H172.
Using the Word Play Die 657837 from Sizzix, for the letters, stained them and added embellishments and stamping. For the little card inside (this is where all the fun begins), using some beautiful papers from Making Memories (background) and from Kaiser Craft (Sweet Nothings Collection) for the cherub. With the Heart die 654983 from Sizzix

I cut one med heart, out of soft aluminum and stained it with Red Pepper Alcohol Ink and ran it though my Vintaj Embossing folder 657933. The other heart was cut from Christmas ribbon. Added Tim Holtz’s embellishments (arrow and word band). Plus two 3D hearts. Back of card stamp credits are Tim Holtz and Hero Arts.
Thank you for your time today, hope everyone is well and inside staying warm.
Hugs XOXOXO

Plains, Trains and Auto’s Oh My!

Fashionable Stamping  current challenge No. 39 is Plains, Trains and Auto’s.
Thought I would do a fun little tag this time around.
Look at these bright bold colors and all the fun little embellishments.

I’ve added wooden plains and a wooden car with windshield and wipers, plus headlights.

Then there’s an old Dungaree button at the top of my tag. I tried to get a good picture of the button, so you can read it, (It reads.. Gross Rail Chief Galesburg), now how cool is that?
Now for all the details, stamp credits; Stampers Anonymous, (Compass, Road sign, plain and Journey) A-Muse Studios, (UAS Map and Motel advertisement.) Inks were distress inks and markers.
Thanks for stopping into today, I always enjoy your visits.

I’m Back, I Hope….

I was told by (Google/Blogger) that my blog was hijacked or hacked into, so this gave me the opportunity to make some cards. (Why not make Lemonade from the Lemon’s that were handed to me?) Now that this is behind me I would like to go back and post some card challenges that I could not participate in.
For the last challenge at Fashionable Stamping I wanted to post this card.

For Our Creative Corner last challenge I made this card and could not post it until my blog was un-locked.

I also made two Valentine cards. First one for Barb and the second one for Sara.

Thank you for your time today, now I’m off to get caught up on your blogs.
