Lace Valentine Box With Candy.

Now I’m talking Valentines!!
What female would not swoon for a box filled with
Hershey’s Kisses with Caramel and Dove Deep Dark Chocolate promises?
Well believe me there was at one time a (full) box of candy here, but it was hard work making this box, and a girl does have to keep up her energy. Only took me four times to finally get ONE box made, plus candy. Can you guess (I’m Box Challenged?)
Lovely lace hearts cuts create this little box, all four sides were cut using the same Spellbinders D-Lites Die, (Medallion Four). I used a Martha Steward punch for the box top (Embroidered Floral).
Added Red Pearls from Kaiser Craft, and Needloft plastic canvas yarn was threaded through the top of the box.
Five (25 mm) Gold Filigree Rounds from Bits and Pieces were added, plus paper roses, red heart sequins and (With Love) ribbon.   The box measures 2 5/8 x 3 ¼ .
Now that it’s done (for now), I’m wondering if legs for this box would work, or would it look to (Bird Cagey) ?
But then this opens another door, can’t you see two white Love Birds on a branch? Ring bearer box? Don’t stop here as there’s Easter.
Would Love to see what you come up with.
Hugs.. XOXOXO

Our Creative Corner Challenge is

For this challenge, you have to use fabrics in any part of your card, either as a flower, a small embellishment, or whatever you want!
We also want to see stitching, either faux stitching or machine stitching. Please specify where you used your fabric if it is not noticeable in the project, and above all have fun! This challenge closes at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on December 14th.
For my card I used pre-printed cotton fabric (see below card for detail of snowflake print), witch I printed this vintage image onto.
Cut it out and added matting, stitch around the edges and added gingham ribbon and lace witch was also stitched down.
I used EK Success punch for snowflakes and Martha Steward for the large snowflake, then Tim Holtz for pine bough, and Martha Steward.
Thank you for your time today.
Hope you are enjoying the holiday season,
we have some snow today, really makes it feel Christmassy out.

St. Nicholas, Kriss Kringle, Santa Claus.

Our Creative Corner Challenge is (Santa Claus is Coming! )
The Ladies are asking that you make your art work around the theme of (Vintage) and using something Red, (button, brad etc.)
If you click on the link for Our Creative Corner
They have provided a download to use in your art work, plus Linda Coughin at
The Funkie Junkie has a graphic download too.
For my card, I went with Linda’s graphic, stain the edges with distress inks, and stamped in some faded stained images. Added an old postage stamp.
Mounted it on Terry’s burlap, then added that to a embossed background.
Using pillow ticking, and gingham ribbon for trimming.
My die is from Tim Holtz’s Movers and Shapers (Poinsettia 658266), and the flowers were cut from paper ribbon and gingham ribbon. Stamps used were Stampin’ Up, Fiskars, and Crafty Secrets.
I’m also adding my card to

This is a challenge using Die’s or Punches. Stop in and take a look at some of the beautiful artwork.
Thank you for your time today,
